Some guys just want to buy parts and assemble cables themselves.  Using the links below you can purchase wire, battery terminals and lugs.  I don't have all the various wire, terminals and lugs that we have in stock on the page yet, but the most common are listed.  I did not list any #8 or #6 wire or ends.  Email me if you want those sizes.  If you don't see what you want please email me.  I may have it in stock and just not yet listed it.

The manufacturer of the ends recommends crimping as the best way to attach ends.  If done right, with good equipment, the crimp is so tight that there is no air gaps and no room for the solder.  I offer a few styles of crimpers.  I don't really recommend the cheap hammer style crimpers, but they'll do the job if you're not too picky.  They also seem to "wear out" and start binding after several uses.    

Soldering is tough on the insulation and the solder wicks up the wire destroying the flexibility.   Soldering also requires flux, hazardous lead solder and solvents (for cleaning the flux).  I've also heard soldering can crack between end and wire.   However, I've soldered ends in the past and  I've never experienced any problems.  I also have some excellent solder for sale if you need it.  email for details.

Items are spec'ed by wire gauge.  (see Technical data for what the sizes mean).  Battery terminals are also specs as positive or negative (positive is slightly larger).  Lugs are also spec'ed by bolt hole size.

Battery Terminals: Top post (Straight, Elbows and Flag), Side Post/Stud Top, including Extra Wire Battery Terminals and Adapters.

Straight Top Post Terminals.  These are the most common battery terminals and probably what you think of when you think of when we talk about battery cable ends.  Sold with standard bolt.  If you want an anti corrosion bolts you can substitute for 50 cents.     4 gauge positive straight terminal. Elbow Top Post Battery Terminals. These are available in Right or Left.  They are useful in certain applications where space is a concern or if you want a different look.  Right elbow is shown.  Other sizes are available but are special order.  Sold with standard bolt.  If you want an anti corrosion bolts you can substitute the bolts for 50 cents.      2/0 gauge positive right elbow terminal. Side Post or Stud Top Terminals.  These are the heavy duty replacement for the cable ends used by some OEMs on new cars and for stud top industrial batteries.  Sold with standard side post bolt.  If you want a extra long bolt and spacer (of stacking terminals in a dual battery setup) you can substitute the bolt for 50 cents.   4 gauge side post terminal. Flag Terminals. These are used for dual battery setups where two or more batteries will be connected in parallel on a single cable.  Again, these are sold with standard bolt.  If you want an anti corrosion bolts you can substitute the bolts for 50 cents.    1/0 gauge positive flag terminal. Special Purpose Battery Terminals and Fasteners:   "Military" Battery Terminals. These are cast lead terminals which are a replacement for the terminals on military vehicles.  Sold buy the pair (1 positive and 1 negative). Only $8.00 a pair. "Marine" battery adapter set.  These are cast lead terminals with studs and wing nuts.  Positive has 3/8 stud and wing nut, negative has 5/16.  Use them where you want use a top post battery with marine style lug battery cables.  Also great for using top post batteries in golf carts.    Price reduced - Now only $4.50 a set.  Side post bolt with extra wire capability.
