Custom orders take longer since we can't build cables ahead of time. We usually get them shipped in about a week. However, it may take longer if we are very busy or if you order is very large or requires special order wire or parts . Use our expidited "Rush" service if you need them shipped in 3 days or less.

I normally stock #4, #2, 1/0, 2/0, 3/0 SGT battery cable, #4, #2, 1/0, 2/0 SGX (high temp) battery cable and a few sizes of marine cable. For more info click here wire sizes.

On the custom order page you have several choices of battery cable ends:
straight (most common), right elbow, left elbow, stud top/side post, ring (for the starter lug) or none (no end at all). Flag terminals (for dual batteries) is not available for online ordering yet. To see pictures of the different types, visit my battery cable ends page..

When ordering, please specify whether you need a positive or negative cable (there is a difference in the cable ends), the length from battery post center to ring hole center. Specify straight, elbow or flag battery terminal and what size ring end (1/4, 5/16, 3/8 or 1/2 inch available although 5/16 and 3/8 are the most common). Also specify whether you need any additional “auxiliary” wires coming out of either the battery and or the ring connector ends.

Please note: I use 2 to 2.5 inches of thick wall adhesive lined heat shrink on the battery terminals. That means an accessory lead is "one with" the cable for approx 3 inches from the battery terminal. So, a 12 inch accessory cable only has 9 "flexible" inches. Sometime that causes problems... I always recommend people order them a little longer than they think they need. See a picture of the end of one of my Jeep Cherokee Battery Cables as an example.
